Pasman Island belongs to the Zadar's islands group, separated from Zadar and Biograd na moru by the Pasman Channel. It is connected with the Island of Ugljan by a bridge, and with Biograd na moru by a ferry line. Cycling track are spread along and a-wide the island. Discover the beauties of nature a bit more actively, by joining one of the canoe safaris down the breathtaking river of Zrmanja. The trips are guided by professionals, and if the water is high enough (mainly in early spring and later autumn) this can turn to a rafting trip. No prior experience is required, children from age 8 can participate accompanied by an adult. You need not to bring any special equipment - you will receive a life-jacket, and in case of cold weather appropriate gear. You need to wear clothing according to the weather though, and definitely sensible shoes. The canoes may take up 2-3 persons while the rafts are for 6-8 persons. More information may be seen here. |
